Offerings from my garden

It is no secret how much I love and reverere flowers and always finding new ways to express myself through my love of them. After reading up on the process of dyeing with natural materials and eco printing flowers, I was immediately intrigued and could not wait to get my hands in on this!

I have been thinking for a couple months now I want Atèlette to be so much more than just clothing, I want it to become an extension of the ways I want to express, create, and discover beauty. It's all very emotional for me and this dye process was a lesson in patience. Perhaps not really a lesson since I did not learn to be more patient, but I did very quickly realize being more patient resulted in more complex and layered designs. 

When I release this first batch of natural dyed silk scarves, I will name it "Batch No. 1 - Impatience"
